Eastern Odyssey
The Eastern Odyssey collections are comprised of silver jewellery and silver sketchbooks inspired by several visits to South East Asia: Myanmar, Thailand and Laos. Amidst the exotic sites and experiences it is the ordinary details that excite me and have been formed into my wearable art pieces – A wooden knot from the famous U Bein bridge in Myanmar or the Stitch on a broom in Thailand.
The silver sculpture is made directly from a surface moulded on location, this is later cast into silver by lost wax process to create a unique small sculpture that is the centrepiece of the jewellery.
Each piece of silver can be forged and finished with bespoke finding and fixings including a variety of metals, chains and pins types – so please look at ‘Bespoke Accessories’ and ask me to make a piece especially for you?
The jewellery comes with a copy of my Eastern Odyssey’s Silver Sketchbook. This beautiful book shares the story and inspiration behind each unique collection.
